Mr. Shuji Nakagawa, the third generation of Nakagawa Mokkougei, has set up Nakagawa Mokkougei Hira Studio in the Hira Mountains of Shiga Prefecture, and produces many beautiful wooden products such as ohitsu and sushi okes. In recent years, he has taken on the challenge of innovative works rich in design that are difficult to express, and continues to convey the spirit and techniques of manufacturing that match the times and culture.
