From Fukagawa Porcelain, with approximately 130 years of history in Arita, Saga Prefecture, comes “Teto-te,” a simple, minimalist series that blends seamlessly into modern life. Each piece is crafted with an emphasis on the sensation conveyed through the hand and ease of use. It can be used for a wide range of purposes, including drinks, soup, and soba noodles.

We offer three colors: “Hisui,” a deep blue-green reminiscent of celadon from China’s Song dynasty; “Mayu,” white porcelain with a soft, cocoon-like quality within its captivating translucence; and “Tsunagu,” a palmette pattern that evolved into a traditional Japanese auspicious motif after traveling along the Silk Road.Each piece is fired individually by artisans, preserving the natural texture of Amakusa pottery stone.During firing, unexpected changes caused by the flames may occur (brownish tones may appear in Hisui), and iron contained in the clay may emerge as black spots.
