Tetote Oval Plate
From Fukagawa Porcelain, with approximately 130 years of history in Arita, Saga Prefecture, comes "Tetote," a simple, minimalist series that blends seamlessly into modern life. The large plates can also be used as one-plate dishes or trays.
The collection is available in three colors: "Hisui," a deep blue-green reminiscent of the celadon porcelain of China's Song dynasty; "Mayu," white porcelain with a soft, cocoon-like quality within its captivating translucence; and "Tsunagu," a pattern that evolved from the Silk Road into auspicious Japanese motifs. Each piece is individually fired by artisans, preserving the natural texture of the original Amakusa pottery stone.During firing, unexpected changes caused by the flames may occur (Hisui may develop brownish tones), and iron contained in the clay may appear as black spots. Please enjoy these as natural characteristics.
