This kyusu teapot was made at the Tokoname pottery studio “Hitomizu” in Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture, using traditional techniques passed down through generations. Its size fits comfortably in your hand and is ideal for preparing tea for one or two people.

The tea strainer is wide and fine, helping to prevent clogging. It is available in three colors so you can choose according to your preference.

※Tokoname kyusu teapots are fired without glazing and have tiny, invisible pores, so please hand-wash them without using detergent after each use. The more you use it, the more it develops a beautiful sheen and blends into your daily life. Please use it as a tool that grows with you.

※Because natural clay is used, pattern-like marks or white raised patterns may appear, but they will become less noticeable with use. Please enjoy them as part of the charm of earthenware. Fine marks resembling scratches may also be visible on the bottom and other areas; these can occur during firing. Please understand them as a characteristic of pottery.
