Teapot IROIRO M

This kyusu teapot was made at the Tokoname pottery studio “Hitomizu” in Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture, using traditional techniques passed down through generations. Its wide opening makes it easy to wash, while allowing the tea leaves to fully unfurl so you can enjoy the tea’s natural flavor. It is available in three colors so you can choose your favorite.

※Tokoname kyusu teapots are made by firing the clay until it hardens, leaving tiny invisible pores. For this reason, please wash the teapot by hand without using detergent after each use.The more you use it, the more it develops a beautiful sheen and blends into your daily life. Please use it as a tool to be cherished and developed over time.

※Because natural clay is used, patterns or white raised-looking marks may appear, but they will become less noticeable with use. Please enjoy them as part of the charm of natural clay pottery. Fine marks that look like scratches may also appear on the bottom and other areas; these can occur during firing. Please understand them as characteristics of fired pottery.
