Tetote Small Bowl

From Fukagawa Porcelain, which has approximately 130 years of history in Arita, Saga Prefecture, comes “Teto-te,” a simple, minimalist series that blends seamlessly into modern life. Each piece is crafted with an emphasis on the feel in the hand and ease of use. It can be used as a salad bowl or a small serving bowl.

Three colors are available: “Hisui,” a deep blue-green reminiscent of celadon from China’s Song dynasty; “Mayu,” white porcelain with a translucent clarity and cocoon-like softness; and “Tsunagu,” a pattern that evolved from the Silk Road into a traditional Japanese auspicious motif. Each piece is individually fired by hand using the natural texture of Amakusa pottery stone.During firing, unexpected changes caused by the flames may occur (brownish tones may appear in Hisui), and iron contained in the clay may emerge as black specks. Please enjoy these as natural characteristics.
