This collaboration brings together the craftsmanship of Takagi Shuzo, Ryokujuan Shimizu, and Fukagawa Seiji to create konpeito made with the sake of Juyondai and an original bonbonnière.

A bonbonnière is a confectionery container for bonbons (sugar candies) in French. Since the Meiji era, bonbonnières have been used as commemorative gifts for celebrations held by the Imperial Family and other members of the Imperial Household, and konpeito are often used as the sugar candies inside.

The bonbonnière is made by Fukagawa Seiji, a renowned Arita ware kiln in Saga Prefecture. For the konpeito, Ryokujuan Shimizu, Japan's only specialty konpeito shop, uses the sake and sake lees of Juyondai, the renowned sake made by Takagi Shuzo in Yamagata Prefecture, capturing the flavor of Japanese sake in each piece. Please enjoy the craftsmanship of each item, created through the use of all five senses. The 2024 bonbonnière is available in two colors: ultramarine and platinum.

Contents: 1 bonbonnière / konpeito 35g + 120g / boxed and wrapped in a furoshiki
