





Blue crystal glaze tea bowl
A碧結晶 vessel crafted by Ryuta Takagi, the sixth-generation artisan of Iwaga Kiln, a Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki pottery studio in Kyoto's Higashiyama district that has continued since the early Meiji period. It features a vivid, clear blue reminiscent of turquoise and a beautiful gradation created by glaze that crystallizes and flows inside the kiln, revealing different expressions depending on the viewing angle.
It can be used for a variety of purposes, such as a large tea bowl, a rice bowl, or a soup bowl.
