Tetote Small Sake Cup Plate

From Fukagawa Porcelain, with approximately 130 years of history in Arita, Saga Prefecture, comes “Teto-te,” a simple, minimalist series that blends seamlessly into modern life. These pieces can be used for a wide range of purposes, such as serving bite-sized sweets, soy sauce and garnishes, or small side dishes.

Available in two colors: “Hisui,” a deep blue-green reminiscent of celadon from China’s Song dynasty, and “Mayu,” whose clear, translucent quality has a cocoon-like softness. Each piece is fired individually by artisans, preserving the natural texture of genuine Amakusa pottery stone.During firing, unexpected changes caused by the flames may occur (brownish tones may appear in Hisui), and iron contained in the clay may emerge as black specks. Please enjoy these as natural characteristics.
