This kyusu teapot was made at the Hitosui pottery in Tokoname, Aichi Prefecture, using traditional techniques passed down through generations. Its thin, flat shape allows the tea leaves to slowly and evenly spread out, letting you fully savor the tea's delicious flavor. With its small 80㎖ capacity, it is recommended for gyokuro or sencha for one person.

※Tokoname kyusu teapots are made by firing the clay until it hardens, leaving tiny invisible pores. Therefore, please wash by hand without using detergent after each use.The more you use it, the more it develops a beautiful luster and blends into your daily life. Please use it as a tool to nurture over time.

※Because natural clay is used, patterns resembling marks or white raised patterns may appear, but they will become less noticeable with use. Please enjoy them as part of the beauty of earthenware. Fine marks resembling scratches may also be visible on the bottom and other areas, but these can occur during firing. Please understand them as characteristics of pottery.
